Accounting System Design – Design the big picture that includes how the accounting department accumulates data, processes the information and disseminates the outputs from the entire system.  This typically is done at a high level and includes staffing, job descriptions and responsibilities, policies and procedures, chart of accounts design, determining the appropriate level of internal control and valid compensating controls and accounting software selection.
